Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Sr Cloud System Administrator to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will manage Windows and Linux environments, primarily in AWS, and contribute to enterprise infrastructure supporting a global workforce.

The role emphasizes automation, CI/CD integration, and security, with a requirement for IAT II certification and active TS/SCI with Polygraph. On-site work with strong collaboration across defense-focused teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; additional 5 years of SA experience may substitute for degree.
• 15+ years of experience in Systems Administration/Cloud Engineer roles.
• Must hold an IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent).
• Proficiency in administering Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Windows Server 2022 administration and networking.
• Proven experience with cloud environments and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Provide admin/support for Windows Server 2019/2022 environments (AD, DNS, CA, clients).
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux distributions (RHEL8/9, Amazon Linux 2023) in AWS.
• Deploy and maintain cloud environments, primarily AWS; support on-prem infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts with SaltStack, Ansible, Bash and Python.
• Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD deployments and automation.
• Monitor AWS resources (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and system performance.
