Cushman & Wakefield is hiring a Central Utility Plant Operator to manage and maintain the plant's HVAC and auxiliary equipment in a mixed-use environment. The role demands strong mechanical aptitude, computer literacy, and the ability to operate on a 12-hour day/night shift schedule.

Minimum three years' building-operator experience and a valid driver's license are required. Widespread safety procedures, equipment testing, and 24/7 coverage are integral to this position.

Qualifications

• Able to work with computers and automated controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair and PM equipment in a 24/7 mixed-use facility.
• Take charge of a shift and make operating decisions without supervision.
• Follow strict operating procedures and two-person safety verifications.
• Document rounds and report non-standard conditions.
• Perform tests and analyses on equipment and systems.
• Work a 12-hour day/night shift and flexible schedule including holidays.
