Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Master Control Operations.
• Experience in Local TV Station Operations is a plus.
• Experience in switching live local news and sporting events is a plus.
• Must have great attention to detail and ability to multitask, monitoring multiple playlists and video monitors simultaneously.
• General understanding of regulations and standards for video, audio, captioning and loudness.
• Knowledge of broadcast technology such as switchers, server playout, automation systems, waveform monitors and rasterizers.

Responsibilities

• Operate the multi-channel and multi-brand control point for Sinclair Television Stations in Columbus, OH.
• Perform live event operations, graphics insertion, playlist manipulation, and monitor on-air quality.
• Modify and verify playlists for current and future broadcast times.
• Ensure proper video routing and content readiness prior to airtime.
• Record, ingest and prepare content for playout and communicate discrepancies to Managers.
