Responsibilities

• Manage 24-hour operations branch activities of a major transportation bridge-tunnel crossing and supervise staff to ensure safe, efficient use of the facility.
• Administer Human Resources activities: conduct job interviews, document personnel actions, ensure EO/AA compliance, promote safety policies, coach staff.
• Develop Operations budgets, plan work activities, procure equipment, stock, and services, monitor and adjust budgets as needed.
• Oversee financial management: allocate resources, steward taxpayer dollars, optimize budgeting for maintenance of signs and pavement markings.
• Lead the Operations Branch: implement processes, procedures, and policies for administrative, budgetary, and operational duties.
