Job summary

Halfords is seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Breakdown Advisor to join our Stafford Support Centre in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment. You will manage commercial breakdowns, ensure SLA adherence, and act as an ambassador for HCFS, delivering professional service to drivers and suppliers.

This 12‑month fixed term contract role is onsite at Stafford, with flexible evening shifts (20:00–00:00 or 18:00–00:00) Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

Confident communicator with excellent people skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver consistent results.
Proactive, resilient and commercially aware.
Able to interpret key information and escalate issues promptly.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a professional and solutions-focused experience.
Respond to breakdown calls promptly and manage jobs within SLA timeframes.
Use initiative and sound decision-making to resolve issues with minimal disruption.
Engage with drivers, suppliers, and stakeholders to support timely resolutions and strong working relationships.
Meet and exceed performance KPIs, including accuracy, efficiency, and service quality.
Participate in training and development to support personal progression.
Support Team Leader with priorities and workflow improvements.
Act as an ambassador for Halfords values and promote a positive culture.
