Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking a Supply Chain professional to support Aircraft on Ground (AOG), maintenance, and supply chain activities. You will analyze needs, source parts, expedite orders, and coordinate logistics to meet urgent and future requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in airline/supply chain; strong MS Office skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Rotating shifts and 24/7 coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of airline industry or supply chain experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 first response to AOG material requirements.
• Analyze, recommend and coordinate most cost-effective and time-efficient movement of parts and materials.
• Coordinate and plan parts requirements for overnight aircraft maintenance tasks and daytime work.
• Verify accuracy of requested parts and identify cross-reference and interchangeable parts with Engineering approval.
• Provide analytics and metrics to enable informed, strategic business decisions regarding critical parts.
• Restock critical parts to ensure ongoing availability and coordinate engine movements to bases and vendors.
• Coordinate with Warranty and Repair expeditor to expedite parts from repair to support events.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.
