Job summary

Southside Unlimited is seeking a Variable Schedule Employment Job Coach to empower individuals with developmental disabilities. You’ll partner with a team to craft personalized plans, coach on-site, and connect job seekers with employers to create meaningful opportunities.

Role offers evenings, weekends, and nights with a $23.67/hour wage, 36–40 hours weekly, and benefits including health, dental, vision, holidays, and PTO. A high school diploma and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Background in Human Services or vocational training is preferred.
• Experience with job development or workforce services is a plus.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office & Google Drive.
• A passion for guiding others toward their goals.
• Comfortable working solo or as part of a team.

What You’ll Be Doing (AKA Changing Lives):

As a Variable Schedule Employment Job Coach, you’ll be the bridge between opportunity and empowerment. You’ll work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them thrive in the workforce and reach personal milestones.

You will:

• Collaborate with a passionate team to support individuals in shaping their future.
• Create personalized plans that meet people where they are.
• Help develop life-changing skills to prepare job seekers for employment.
• Provide on-site coaching to ensure success in their roles.

To Be Considered, You Must:

• Be flexible: schedules depend on the needs of those we serve—so adaptability is key. (Mornings, Evenings and Weekends)
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be confident in your written and verbal communication.
• Own a reliable vehicle with valid license, insurance, and a clean DMV record (max 3 points in 4 years).
• Be tech-savvy enough to handle reports, emails, and basic documentation.
