Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with at-risk students and ability to address diverse learning needs.
• Experience in implementing after-school activities for children.
• Must be organized, creative, flexible and reliable.
• Able to assist in planning and facilitating enrichment workshops (ELA, Math, SEL).
• Knowledge of current education regulations preferred.
• Strong communication with teachers, staff and parents.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; work with all stakeholders.
• Commitment to student growth in academics and social-emotional areas.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist with all afterschool program activities under the Site Coordinator.
• Complete required pre/post-SAYO surveys per 21st Century Grant requirements.
• Assist with snack, transitions, dismissal and other duties as assigned.
• Perform duties during non-contractual hours; hours may vary by site.
