Rack City is a high-energy bar located at Ballpark Commons in Franklin, WI. We’re seeking energetic bartenders to deliver fast, accurate beverage service and help maintain a clean, organized bar during busy shifts.

Ideal candidates have bartending experience, thrive in fast-paced settings, and engage guests with a friendly, professional attitude while following Wisconsin alcohol laws. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages per Rack City recipes and standards.
• Provide fast and accurate service during high-volume periods.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of the food menu, beverage offerings, specials, and promotions.
• Check IDs and follow Wisconsin alcohol-service laws and policies.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and stock levels throughout the shift.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Follow Rack City policies and procedures; perform additional duties as assigned.

Rack City is a high-energy food, drinks, and entertainment concept located at Ballpark Commons in Franklin. We’re building a team of outgoing, dependable, and hardworking bartenders who know how to provide great service while keeping up in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

Rack City Bartenders are responsible for creating a fun, welcoming guest experience while providing fast, accurate, and responsible beverage service. Bartenders should be comfortable handling high-volume service, engaging with guests, maintaining their bar, and working closely with the entire Rack City team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, shots, and non-alcoholic beverages according to Rack City recipes and standards
• Provide fast and accurate service during high-volume periods
• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter orders into the POS system
• Maintain knowledge of the food menu, beverage offerings, specials, and promotions
• Check identification and follow all Wisconsin alcohol-service laws and company policies
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Maintain an organized, stocked, and clean bar throughout the shift
• Complete opening, closing, stocking, and side-work responsibilities
• Restock liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies as needed
• Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness standards
• Communicate effectively with fellow bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, barbacks, security, and management
• Help create an energetic, positive atmosphere for guests
• Work as a team and assist in other areas when needed
• Follow all Rack City policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience strongly preferred
• High-volume restaurant, bar, nightclub, or entertainment venue experience is a plus
• Strong communication and guest-service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Outgoing personality and ability to comfortably engage with guests
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions
• Ability to remain professional and composed during busy periods
• Must meet all legal requirements to serve alcohol in Wisconsin
• Responsible Beverage Server certification/license required as applicable
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Availability

Evening and weekend availability is required. Candidates should have flexible availability for busy nights, special events, holidays, and other high-volume periods.
