Job summary

Fortune 500 company in Renton, WA is seeking a finance specialist to participate in month-end close, manage journal entries, and reconcile GL accounts. You will report financial results to the reporting group and coordinate asset depreciation.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access skills required.
• Experience with SAP/RPA is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end financial close cycle, including preparing journal entries and analyzing general ledger account reconciliations.

• Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing tasks such as internal control testing and government reporting.
• Support Accounts Payable functions including invoice processing, intercompany transactions, vendor statement reconciliations, and expense report review.
• Complete other special projects as assigned.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Participate in month-end financial close cycle, including preparing journal entries and analyzing general ledger account reconciliations
• Report financial results to the financial reporting group
• Coordinate inventory, setup, and depreciation of Fixed Assets
• Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing tasks such as internal control testing and government reporting
• Support Accounts Payable functions including invoice processing, intercompany transactions, vendor statement reconciliations, and expense report review
• Complete other special projects as assigned

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay: $25 for undergraduates, $30 for graduates
