Job summary

NWU in Renton, WA is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support month-end close. You will prepare journal entries, analyze GL reconciliations, and report results to the financial reporting group.

You will coordinate inventory, depreciation of fixed assets, assist with government reporting and AP tasks, and participate in special projects. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential in this fast-paced, Fortune 500 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience with month-end close processes is ideal.
• Strong Excel and office software proficiency.
• Experience with SAP/RPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end financial close cycle, including preparing journal entries and analyzing general ledger account reconciliations.
• Report financial results to the financial reporting group.
• Coordinate inventory, setup, and depreciation of Fixed Assets.
• Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing tasks such as internal control testing and government reporting.
• Support Accounts Payable functions including invoice processing, intercompany transactions, vendor statement reconciliations, and expense report review.
• Complete other special projects as assigned.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Hourly pay: $25 for undergraduates, $30 for graduates
