Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Melbourne, FL invites you to join the EOIS Supply Chain team as a Summer Intern. This co-op provides entry-level support to Material Program Management and IPTs, with hybrid work and a 9/80 schedule.

You will gain exposure to supply chain coordination, data management, reporting, and meetings while developing knowledge of planning processes and systems. Enrolled students pursuing Supply Chain or Business Administration degrees are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; enrolled college student in Supply Chain/Business Admin.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Proficient with standard office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with MS Office tools and basic data management.

Responsibilities

• Provide entry-level professional administrative and program support to Material Program Management and IPTs.
• Assist in supply-chain coordination, data management, reporting, and meeting activities.
• Maintain a professional company image and uphold mission and values.
• Prepare routine reports with guidance.
• Organize and update data using database applications.

Job Summary

Provides entry-level professional administrative and program support to Material Program Management and Integrated Project Teams. Supports supply-chain coordination, data management, reporting, meeting activities, and problem identification while developing knowledge of material planning processes and systems. Maintains a professional company image and upholds the organization’s mission, values, and culture.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform professional administrative work of an introductory nature in preparation for career advancement
• Perform entry-level professional administrative staff duties in support of functional areas, gradually increasing in level of difficulty and responsibility
• Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction
• Type and word-process draft documents and electronic information
• Prepare routine reports with guidance
• Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications
• Assist in arranging meetings, conferences, and project team activities
• Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and enrolled college student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate successfully orally and in writing
