Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC-Kenworth) offers a 12-week Operations Intern Program in Des Moines, IA. During the summer you rotate through each position in the Parts or Service Department to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the business.

You will execute business initiatives, receive supervision, and work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks; the program serves as a pipeline into MHC's Full-Time Management Trainee Program.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
• Leadership and sales skills strongly preferred.
• Strong commitment to providing quality work and excellent customer service.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback.

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC-Kenworth) is a multi‑state network of Kenworth truck dealers providing more than 50,000 customers with a full range of truck services. MHC's Operations Intern Program is a 12‑week version of our Management Trainee Program. Over the course of the summer, you will be given a hands‑on deep dive into how our Parts or Service Department operates, by rotating through each position in the department and helping contribute to the business.
