Zusammenfassung

Ursa Major in Colorado is seeking a Summer 2027 Manufacturing Engineering Internship on the Machining Manufacturing Engineering team. You will join a small, fast-moving group and gain hands-on experience supporting manufacturing, assembly, and production in a real propulsion defense environment.

The role is full-time non-exempt for interns with a background in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering, and you must be a junior or higher by May 2027.

Ursa Major is currently seeking talented individuals for our Summer 2027 Manufacturing Engineering Internship. As an intern on a small, fast-moving team, you will be challenged with supporting the dynamic environment of manufacturing, assembly, and production. You will receive hands‑on experience while helping solve difficult engineering problems. We thrive on giving ownership and authority, so you can expect to make decisions and make a difference!

This internship will be on the Machining Manufacturing Engineering team.

This position will be full-time.

Required Qualifications:

• Background in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering
• Must be an academic Junior or above by May 2027 (experience with mechanics of materials, production equipment, CAD, and CAM)
• Excellent with root cause analysis with mechanical systems
• Hands‑on build and machining experience
• Demonstrated teamwork and ability to communicate effectively in a group setting
• Drive to continuously improve technical and team skills

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $30.00/hour, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. What we can’t quantify for you are the exciting challenges, supportive team, and amazing culture we enjoy.
