Zebra Technologies Corporation offers a summer internship designed to give undergraduates and graduates hands-on exposure to investment research, due diligence, and portfolio reporting within Zebra Ventures. You’ll collaborate across teams, learn through mentorship, and contribute to real investment analyses.

The program emphasizes a blend of hands-on experiences, social activities, and professional development, with opportunities to advance in corporate venture capital and technology solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify start‑up investment targets aligned with Zebra’s themes.
• Perform product, business, and financial due diligence with detailed evaluations.
• Collaborate with internal business unit partners to understand strategic needs and gaps.
• Monitor adjacent technology industries to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
• May assist on research and analyses for M&A.
• Generate investment memos and quarterly portfolio reports for Zebra’s Board and External Auditors.

What We're Looking For:

The purpose of this internship is to prepare students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide students with experiences that provide insights into a career with Zebra. Students will be positioned for success with training and hands‑on experiences, invited to social and development activities, and provided a professional mentor relationship. Zebra Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Zebra Technologies. We make minority investments in early‑stage companies that extend Zebra’s vision of digitizing and automating the front lines of business, with a focus on areas including robotics, AI, automated data capture, and asset visibility across Zebra’s verticals. This intern will work on the following:

• Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify start‑up investment targets that align with Zebra’s key investment themes and areas of strategic interest
• Perform product, business, and financial due diligence on companies of interest with detailed evaluations of start‑up owners, product roadmaps, customer analysis, business models, go‑to‑market strategies and financial projections
• Collaborate with internal business unit partners to understand their strategic needs and portfolio or technology gaps
• Monitor adjacent technology industries and companies to identify trends, opportunities, and threats
• May assist on research and analyses for M&A as well
• Generate investment memos, monthly activity reports, customer presentations, ecosystem landscapes and strategies, and quarterly portfolio update reports for a variety of audiences including Zebra’s Board of Directors and External Auditors

This position requires hybrid work (3 days/week in office) in the Lincolnshire, IL office.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Business, Economics or similar
• Must have an anticipated graduation date from December 2027-2029 or (Masters-May 2027-2028)
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Salary:

USD $25.50-$33.50/hour
