Job summary

Zebra invites a driven student to join its Marketing Development Program as a Summer Internship in Lincolnshire, IL. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting the Business and Market Intelligence team with research design, data analysis, and stakeholder reporting.

Expect mentoring, social activities, and professional growth within a two-year rotational context. Hours are part-time to full-time across a 12-week program, with hybrid work arrangement and intern-related social/professional

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Management, Marketing or Finance
• Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 - 2028
• Authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Work with senior team to understand business needs and translate into research design
• Deliver reports in formats that help stakeholders interpret data (pivot tables, graphs)
• Review existing reports for data accuracy
• Propose resolutions for quality issues of limited scope under guidance of senior analysts
• Support business units and marketing teams with intelligence/research requests
• Use analytical techniques to generate actionable recommendations and identify trends in datasets

What We're Looking For

The purpose of this internship is to prepare students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide students with experiences that provide insights into a career with Zebra. Students will be positioned for success with training and hands‑on experiences, invited to social and development activities, and provided a professional mentor relationship. The primary purpose of the Business and Market Intelligence team is to provide research‑based insights on markets, customers, and competitors. The team works with senior members to understand business needs and then translates them into an appropriate research design / methodology. This marketing Internship at Zebra will provide you with the foundation to explore and apply for Zebra's Marketing Development Program (MDP).TheMDP is a two‑year, full‑time rotational program offering employees the opportunity to learnfrom expertsthroughout the marketing organization at our Lincolnshire, IL headquarters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with senior team members to understand the business need and translate them into an appropriate research design
• Delivers report in format to aid business stakeholder interpretation (pivot tables, graphs, etc.)
• Reviews existing reports for data accuracy
• Proposes resolutions for quality issues of limited scope to more senior level analysts and/or supervisor; Support business units and marketing teams on intelligence/research requests
• Utilizes analytical working techniques, problem solving, research/quantitative analysis skills to generate recommendations
• Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences
• May be responsible for data governance processes and quality in assigned area of responsibility
• Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
• Increase technology knowledge and skills, especially as it relates to Zebra's product portfolio
• Manage team-based work assignments
• Practice interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow-up activities

This position requires hybrid work (3 days/week in office) in the Lincolnshire, IL office.

Required Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Management, Marketing or Finance
• Must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 - 2028
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• High level of Excel skills required
• Ability to design questionnaires, build sampling plans, and create data tabulations
• Strong analytical skills – data cleaning and preparation, analyze data to extract answers to business questions
• Communication Skills – Clear and effective verbal and written communication
• Adaptability and Learning Agility – Willingness to learn quickly, embrace new tools or methods, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Technical Skills – Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with technology solutions)
• Integrity – Commitment to ethical behavior and confidentiality
