Job summary

Zebra Technologies Corporation invites students to join a Summer Internship in the Program Management Office. The role provides hands-on experience with AI-enabled workflows, strategic alignment, and cross-team collaboration within a global technology company.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an MS/MBA graduate degree program in Computer Science (AI/ML), Data Science/Statistics, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Artificial Intelligence.
• Must have an anticipated graduation date between 2027-2029.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Excellent program management and communication skills.
• Experience with digital automation and AI workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute automation tasks under the AI for PMO Initiative (building agentic workflows for reporting, status, and ZLM).
• Align with strategic goals to modernize the Program Management Office and rethink legacy processes.
• Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills.
• Increase technology knowledge related to Zebra's product portfolio.
• Manage team-based work assignments and coordinate with day-to-day business contacts.

What We're Looking For:

The purpose of this internship is to prepare students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide students with experiences that provide insights into a career with Zebra. Students will be positioned for success with training and hands‑on experiences, invited to social and development activities, and provided a professional mentor relationship.

The Program Management team is a cross business unit organization that executes initiatives that impact all Product & Solutions business units, such as Enterprise Security, Regulatory, Customer Experience Design and the CTO office which drives vertical strategy and proliferates AI product technology across the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute automation tasks under the AI for PMO Initiative (building agentic workflows for reporting, status, and ZLM)
• Align with our strategic goals to build a modern, tech-forward Program Management Office, and rethinking legacy processes.
• Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
• Increase technology knowledge and skills, especially as it relates to Zebra's product portfolio
• Manage team-based work assignments
• Practice interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow‑up activities

Location:

Hybrid work (3 days/week in office) in the Holtsville, NY office.

Required Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an graduate (MS/MBA) degree program in Computer Science (AI/ML), Data Science/Statistics, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Artificial Intelligence
• Must have an anticipated graduation date between 2027-2029
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

• Program management skills
• Experience working in an enterprise setting/understanding of corporate processes
• Skills or experience in go-to-market situations
• Experience in digital automation and the building of AI agentic workflows
• Communication Skills – Clear and effective verbal and written communication
• Adaptability and Learning Agility – Willingness to learn quickly, embrace new tools or methods, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Technical Skills – Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with technology solutions
• Integrity – Commitment to ethical behavior and confidentiality

Salary:

USD $40.50 - $44.50/hour
