Job summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR company, invites a student intern to join our Engineering team in Denton, Texas. The Resident Engineering Product Data Management intern will contribute to order processing projects, data rule documentation, testing, and QA activities.

You will develop training materials for the Order Processing group and gain exposure to .NET, JavaScript or HTML/DHTML, plus Microsoft Office tools, all while earning a competitive salary and the chance to grow within a global

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering or Computer Science program.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; exposure to .NET/JavaScript is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process map and document engineering order processing and manufacturing software integrations.
• Document engineering order processing systems data rules and conditions of use.
• Develop tests to confirm Sales Order completeness and accuracy.
• Perform QA activities including Defect Analysis and Root Cause investigations.
• Create, organize, and coordinate training material for the Order Processing group.

Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an internship for students currently enrolled in college. This opening is for a Resident Engineering Product Data Management Intern to add to our Engineering team in Denton, Texas.

Job Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:

• Process map and document engineering order processing and manufacturing software integrations.
• Document engineering order processing systems data rules and conditions of use.
• Developing tests to confirm Sales Order completeness and accuracy.
• Performing Quality Assurance activities including Defect Analysis and Root Cause investigations.
• Creating, organizing, and coordinating training material for the Order Processing group.

Required Qualifications

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in an Engineering or a Computer Science program.
