Job summary

CareSource is offering a 12-week paid summer internship for rising juniors and seniors to gain real-world AI experience. The program includes mentorship, leadership seminars, and a path to potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Interns will translate business problems into AI-enabled solutions and validate AI outputs while preparing dashboards for leadership reviews. Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a flexible work environment and gain exposure to AI/ML

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required.
• Familiarity with Python, R, and Java preferred.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML techniques (machine learning, NLP, computer vision) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in translating business problems into AI-enabled solutions.
• Validate AI outputs for accuracy, fairness, and regulatory alignment.
• Document AI use cases, workflows, assumptions, and results to support adaptability.
• Prepare summaries, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and governance forums.

Internship Program The CareSource Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. We offer a 12-week, paid summer internship program for college students who want to separate themselves from the pack. This is an exciting opportunity to obtain real-world experience and prepare yourself for your career after college.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in translating business problems into AI-enabled solutions.
• Help validate AI outputs for accuracy, fairness, and regulatory alignment.
• Document AI use cases, workflows, assumptions, and results to support adaptability.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Current Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

• Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, R, Java) preferred
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML techniques (e.g. machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision)
• Knowledge of relevant AI frameworks required
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an in-office environment and communicate with various teams
• Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Range: $41,200.00 - $66,000.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
