Job summary

Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to support our Building Stronger Communities initiative across our site, transportation, structures and water resources disciplines.

Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is a multi-disciplined civil engineering firm offering civil site, structural, land surveying, and GIS services. Since its founding in 1996, our team has grown to over 150 team members with six locations. We operate in three states serving our six service lines - Infrastructure + Analytics, Site, Structures, Survey, Transportation, and Water Resources. We have office locations in Missouri – Prestonsburg.

Missouri – St. Louis and Jefferson City, Illinois – Collinsville and Effingham and Kentucky – Louisville and Prestonsburg.

We are looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to support our CDI mission in Building Stronger Communities through one of our engineering services of Site, Transportation, Structures and Water Resources. This internship would support our service lines by contributing to projects and engaging with the team and supporting our mission of developing a better tomorrow.

Intern Program

Job Duties

Under supervision, the intern will assist in surveying and engineering to support a variety of design projects.

• Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation.

The anticipated base hourly range for this position is $22-24/hr. Compensation will vary based upon relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
