Qualifications

• 2+ years in an accredited Engineering program (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Construction Management).

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering staff to support construction projects.
• Apply classroom training to develop understanding of Mechanical Systems and support design, build, and installation.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on Design-Build projects to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Assist in managing project documentation and plans.
• Partner with estimating, design, and Project Management teams to gain exposure to the full spectrum of the mechanical construction process.

AMS Industries is currently accepting resumes for our 10-week Summer Internship Program, with opportunities available across multiple divisions and locations, including our Woodridge, IL headquarters, Bolingbrook, IL office, Schererville, IN office, Nashville, TN office and various project jobsites.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience through a combination of office-based and field project work. Depending on your skills and interests, you will contribute to meaningful projects that expose you to both the technical and practical aspects of the mechanical construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Engineering staff to support construction projects.


• Apply classroom training and knowledge to develop an understanding of Mechanical Systems, using your developing skill set to support design, build, and installation processes.


• Collaborate closely with the engineering team on Design-Build projects to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Completion of at least 2 years in an accredited Engineering program (Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Civil, or Electrical).
