Job summary

Qualifications

  • Full‑time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship period (May–August 2027) pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to the internship.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support panel and electrical equipment testing operations through process improvement and performance tracking.
  • Streamline team metrics and reporting processes to enable better decision making.
  • Facilitate feedback loops between manufacturing and engineering to drive production improvements.
  • Gain hands-on experience in testing and validation of relay panels and electrical equipment systems.
  • Present findings and progress from projects to local management at program end.

2027 Summer Intern: Operations - Continuous Improvement

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell.

This intern will focus on supporting panel and electrical equipment testing operations through process improvement and performance tracking initiatives. Responsibilities include streamlining team metrics and reporting processes, supporting feedback loops between manufacturing and engineering teams to drive production improvements, and gaining hands‑on experience in the testing and validation of relay panels and electrical equipment systems.

Intern compensation is determined based on academic standing and expected graduation date. Hourly rates for this position range from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour ($46,800–$60,320 annualized equivalent).
