Job summary

Motrex LLC, the exclusive service provider to Stryten Energy, offers a paid 2027 summer internship located in Alpharetta, GA. The program runs May–August 2027, 40 hours/week on-site with mentorship across Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Compensation, and Benefits.

Two interns will be hired; housing and transportation are required, and interns will gain exposure to Employee Relations, HRIS, and other HR functions while presenting their projects to the HR team at program end.

Qualifications

• Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.
• GPA 3.0 or greater required.
• You must have housing and transportation.
• On-site daily work required.

Responsibilities

• Support Talent Acquisition with weekly reports and candidate backgrounds.
• Facilitate requisitions: manager interface, candidate calls, scheduling, offers, onboarding tasks.
• Contribute to recruiting projects (social media, job descriptions, metrics).
• Track events and outreach; assist Compensation/Benefits/HRIS projects as needed.
• Present projects and learnings to HR team at end of internship.

Overview

Motrex is the exclusive service provider to Stryten Energy, a $1 billion leader in stored electrical energy solutions, including batteries and associated equipment and services for the transportation and industrial markets. Stryten has over 2,500 employees working at manufacturing sites throughout the country.

Motrex's corporate headquarters is located just north of Atlanta in Alpharetta, GA. The internship will begin in May of 2027 and end in August 2027, and will be full-time (40 hours a week) with expectations of being on-site each day (no remote work). This is a paid opportunity, but housing is not provided, so you must have both housing and transportation.

The Human Resources team will hire two (2) summer interns. One intern will primarily support Talent Acquisition and work closely with the recruiting team, while the second intern will focus on HRIS, Compensation, and Benefits. Both interns will gain exposure to all areas of Human Resources, including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS, with an emphasis on their assigned functional area. The program is designed to provide hands‑on learning through mentorship, project work, and cross‑functional collaboration. At the conclusion of the internship, each intern will present their projects and key learnings to the HR team.

Qualifications

We are looking for students:

• Progressing towards a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field

• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2029

• With a GPA of 3.0 or greater

• You must have housing and transportation

• The position requires working on-site daily

During your internship, you will be exposed to the following areas:

• Talent Acquisition (Recruiting) - primarily

• Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, and HRIS

• Applications: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ADP, iCIMS, I9 Tracker, HireRight
