Job summary

Motrex LLC, located in Alpharetta, GA, offers an on-site risk management internship starting May 2027 and ending August 2027. You will support the Risk Management department in maintaining the insurance portfolio, preparing renewal materials, and tracking premium renewals while collaborating with Accounting, FP&A, and audit teams.

The internship requires housing and transportation, a BS in Risk Management or related field, and a GPA of 3.0 or higher, with daily onsite work at our Alpharetta

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of the company's insurance portfolio (property, casualty, liability, cyber, and manufacturing-related policies).
• Prepare materials for September property renewal, including SOV compilation for every Edison location.
• Track and consolidate response plans to property loss control recommendations to mitigate risk and reduce annual premium expenditures.
• Assist in renewal applications for pollution and management liability.
• Track, consolidate, and report all premium renewals against budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain payment log for risk management invoices and payments.
• Offer support to other Finance departments including Accounting, FP&A, and audit.

Motrex LLC is a service provider for Stryten Energy. Motrex's corporate headquarters is located just north of Atlanta in Alpharetta, GA. The internship will begin in May of 2027 and end in August 2027, and will work a 40-hour week with expectations of being on-site each day; no remote work. This is a paid opportunity; however, housing is not provided, so you must arrange for both housing and transportation.

The Risk Management department is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s comprehensive insurance and risk management strategy. This department ensures that the Company’s assets, operations, and workforce are adequately protected from potential liabilities and losses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking and consolidating a response plan to all property loss control recommendations to mitigate risk and reduce annual premium expenditures
• Assist in application completion for pollution and management liability renewal.
• Assist in tracking, consolidating, and reporting all premium renewals against budget and forecast targets
• Assist in maintaining the payment log for all risk management-related invoices and payments
• Offer support to other Finance departments as needed, including Accounting, FP&A, and audit.
