Job summary

Textron's Bell Textron Inc. invites engineering students to join a 10-week internship in Piney Flats, TN, offering hands-on experience on real projects alongside seasoned professionals.

As an Engineering Intern, you will assist project engineers, use CAD/CAE for drawings and analyses, and participate in prototype testing, with mentorship and development opportunities throughout the program.

Day in the Life of an Engineering Intern

We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. From tiltrotor technology to tail sitting vehicles, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs. As an Engineering Intern at Bell, you can expect to:

• Assist project engineers via “hands‑on” engineering and design of new products.
• Use CAD/CAE for engineering drawings and/or analysis of new products.
• Perform secondary research in the successful resolution of engineering problems
• Lead manufacture and performance test of engineering prototypes

What You’ll Need

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 60 college credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2026) or prior Bell internship experience.
• Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1– August 7, 2026.
• 3.0 GPA preferred.
