Job summary

Charter Communications invites highly motivated students to join its Spectrum internship program in Charlotte for the summer. You will work with Data Science and Internal Audit teams on data analysis and visualization projects that contribute to the audit plan and data support cycles.

The program runs May 26 through August 6, 2027, offering mentorship, professional development sessions, networking, and cross-functional experiences to help you grow personally and professionally.

Qualifications

  • Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University pursuing a bachelor's degree.
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Data Science and Internal Audit teams with data driven analyses and visualizations.
  • Refresh existing analyses in AWS, update Tableau dashboards, and assist on audits.

  • This is a paid, full-time, 1 1-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
  • Internship program runs from May26 through August 6, 2027.
  • In addition to role-specific projects, you'll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship, and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network, and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

The Data Science, Internal Audit team plays a key role in our data driven audits and designs, develops and maintains data analysis and visualizations to support the audit plan. This position plays a key role in including assisting with requirements gathering, data validation, and analysis execution.

  • They will be focused on refreshing existing analysis in AWS, updating Tableau dashboards, and assisting on a data driven audit to understand the full data support cycle.
