Job summary

PND Engineers in Juneau, AK offers a summer internship exposing you to civil engineering across site civil, transportation, structural, coastal, marine, water resources, and geotechnical fields.

You will work on drawings, calculations, field inspections, and reports, guided by experienced engineers who mentor you. Requires sophomore year completion, strong communication, 40-hour workweek, and willingness to travel for fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least sophomore year in ABET-accredited engineering program
• College juniors and seniors preferred
• Can commit to a 40-hour weekly schedule during the summer
• Fieldwork may involve some overtime at 1.5x hourly rate
• Include a copy of school transcript with application

Qualifications:

We focus our opportunities for self-motivated students who:

• Have completed at least their sophomore year in an ABET-accredited engineering program (college juniors and seniors preferred).
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively.
• Can commit to a 40-hour weekly schedule during the summer. Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Can commit to occasional field work, which may involve out of town travel. Fieldwork may involve some overtime, which pays at 1.5 times your hourly rate.
• Include a copy of their school transcript with their application.

Compensation:

• PND Engineers offers competitive hourly pay, ranging from $20 to $30, based on your experience (DOE), along with paid holidays
