Job summary

PND Engineers invites you to a summer engineering internship, offering hands-on experience across site civil, transportation, structural, coastal, marine, water resources, or geotechnical engineering. You will work on real projects, review drawings and calculations, and perform fieldwork such as inspections, with guidance from experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on civil, transportation, structural, coastal, marine, water resources, or geotechnical projects.
• Review or produce drawings and calculations; conduct fieldwork and inspections.
• Assist in preparation and assembly of field reports and data.
• Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced engineers.

Qualifications:

We focus our opportunities for self-motivated students who:

• Have completed at least their sophomore year in an ABET-accredited engineering program (college juniors and seniors preferred).
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively.
• Can commit to a 40-hour weekly schedule during the summer. Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Can commit to occasional field work, which may involve out of town travel. Fieldwork may involve some overtime, which pays at 1.5 times your hourly rate.
• Include a copy of their school transcript with their application.

Compensation:

PND Engineers offers competitive hourly pay, ranging from $20 to $30, based on your experience (DOE), along with paid holidays
