Job summary

Dean Dorton invites you to join an internship program designed to help you build the experience you want. Learn with experts, gain real-world tax and accounting exposure, and earn university-approved credit. This on-site internship offers structured mentoring and a pathway to a career with guidance from our Tax and Accounting teams.

Available in Lexington, Louisville, Ft. Wright, and Raleigh, the program runs January 4 to April 15 for at least 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior enrolled in an accounting or business program at an accredited University or College.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing individual and business tax returns.
• Participating in tax, accounting, and software training.
• Mentoring with Tax Managers and Directors to learn best practices and workplace skills.
