Job summary

Dean Dorton offers an internship program to build real-world auditing experience for students in accounting or business. Juniors, seniors, and masters students will work on client audits, expand classroom learning, and receive mentoring from Audit Partners on best practices.

The internship runs January 4 – April 15, requires a minimum of 20 hours per week, on-site in Lexington, Louisville, Ft. Wright, and Indianapolis, with university credit hours possible and market-leading pay plus additional

Qualifications

• Junior, Senior, or Master’s student enrolled in an accounting or business program at an accredited University or College.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client audits of financial statements.
• Participate in audit, accounting, and software training.
• Learn best practices through mentoring with Audit Partners.
• Apply classroom knowledge to real client work.
