Job summary

Dean Dorton is looking for motivated accounting and business students to join our internship program in Lexington and surrounding area. This on-site, June–August 2027 internship offers real client engagements and hands-on experience.

You will apply classroom knowledge to financial investigations, litigation support, and valuation projects, with mentoring from experienced professionals. The program also provides university credit hours and market-leading pay, plus social and networking

Qualifications

• Junior or senior enrolled in an accounting or business program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial investigations, litigation support, and business valuation projects.
• Participate in specialized training on forensic accounting tools and methodologies.
