Job summary

Dean Dorton offers a hands-on internship program to help you build the experience you want. You will work with experts who care about developing your skills and gain real-world exposure in tax and accounting.

You will complete at least 20 hours per week, on-site in Lexington and other nearby locations, with university-approved credit hours and competitive pay. This internship serves as a stepping stone to a professional career with guided mentorship.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior enrolled in an accounting or business program at an accredited University or College.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Building and expanding on your classroom education.
• Preparing individual and business tax returns.
• Participating in tax, accounting, and software training.
• Mentoring with Tax Managers and Directors to learn best practices and workplace skills.
