Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation invites applications for a Spring 2027 Flight Controls V&V Collegiate Intern at the Savannah facility. The role focuses on hardware/software verification, system testing, and tool development to support fleet reliability and troubleshooting.

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s or higher program in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, with a 3.0 GPA and on-site availability in Savannah, GA for Spring 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the listed engineering disciplines.
• Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during Spring 2027.
• GPA 3.0 or higher (without rounding); listed on resume.

Responsibilities

• Develop, Design, and Certify hardware and software aspects of the Flight Control System equipment as a Verification Engineer.
• Write and execute system functional verification testing in an integrated lab environment.
• Develop tools used for fleet reliability data analysis and system troubleshooting.
• Support troubleshooting of in-service issues impacting component reliability.

What we do:

The Flight Controls team is responsible for the design, development, integration, and certification of the Gulfstream Flight Control Systems across all large cabin programs. These systems are complex in nature and are designed by a highly cross-functional team of exceptional engineers in the areas of complex electronics, software, electrical and hydraulic actuation. We are seeking candidates with broad skillsets and various levels of experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individualstoworkright hereat our Savannah facility.

What you will do:

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
• Rotation Requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation.
• Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).
• Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
• Must have reliable transportation.

This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
