Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA invites a Spring 2027 Collegiate Intern to apply classroom knowledge to real aerospace challenges. You will work with a cross-functional Flight Controls team designing, integrating, and certifying control systems for Gulfstream aircraft.

The role emphasizes hardware/software verification, lab-based testing, and tool development for data analysis and troubleshooting, with on-site requirements at our Savannah facility.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on resume (no rounding).
• Must be onsite in Savannah, GA for Spring 2027 internship.
• Eligible majors include Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and certify hardware and software aspects of the Flight Control System equipment as a Verification Engineer.
• Write and execute system functional verification testing in an integrated lab environment.
• Develop tools used for fleet reliability data analysis and system troubleshooting.
• Support troubleshooting of in-service issues affecting component reliability.

What we do:

The Flight Controls team is responsible for the design, development, integration, and certification of the Gulfstream Flight Control Systems across all large cabin programs. These systems are complex in nature and are designed by a highly cross-functional team of exceptional engineers in the areas of complex electronics, software, electrical and hydraulic actuation. We are seeking candidates with broad skillsets and various levels of experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals to work right here at our Savannah facility.

What you will do:

• Develop, Design, and Certify hardware and software aspects of the Flight Control System equipment as a Verification Engineer

Education and Other Requirements

• Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring 2027 semester.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.

2. Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date.
3. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
4. Rotation Requirements: Juniors - 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students - 1 rotation.
5. Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14-16 weeks (spring and fall).
6. Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
7. Must have reliable transportation.

This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
