As an Enterprise Architecture Intern within Corporate Information Technology, you will partner with the Enterprise Architecture team to support the alignment of technology solutions with business goals and enterprise strategy. Working with stakeholders across IT and business functions, you will assist in maintaining architecture artifacts, technology inventories, and business capability models that help drive informed technology decisions.
You will gain hands‑on experience analyzing applications, processes, and data across the enterprise while supporting the development of technology roadmaps, governance practices, and innovation initiatives. Through this work, you will learn how enterprise architecture helps organizations balance agility, efficiency, and long‑term sustainability.
In this role, you will report to the Senior Principal Enterprise Architecture.
Assisting in documenting current‑state architecture, including applications, systems, data flows, and integrations.
Supporting the maintenance of enterprise architecture repositories and tools, such as LeanIX and related platforms.
Creating and maintaining architecture diagrams, business capability maps, and process flows using tools such as Visio.
Conducting research on emerging technologies, AI capabilities to prepare summaries and recommendations for the Enterprise Architecture team.
Supporting architecture governance activities by preparing review materials, documenting decisions, and helping ensure projects align with enterprise architecture standards and principles.
Collaborating with architects, business analysts, cybersecurity professionals, and project teams to gather information, analyze the application portfolio, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce redundancy across the technology landscape.

Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 to $29.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co‑ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
