Job summary

JBS USA is launching a 12‑month Quality Assurance Management Trainee program designed to immerse you in leadership across our production facilities. You’ll rotate through core business sectors, support the QA team, and gain hands‑on experience with GMP, SSOP, and HACCP protocols.

Qualified candidates hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA, can lift 50 lbs, and are willing to relocate and work varying shifts to support safe, high‑quality food production at our Council Bluffs location.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Willingness to work different shifts and occasional weekends.
• Flexibility to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Rotations: you will spend time learning and working in every business sector of your location.
• Will provide support to the QA team.
• Familiarize yourself with GMP, SSOP, and HACCP protocols.
• Gain working knowledge of food safety and quality assurance testing procedures.
• Participate in food safety team and USDA meetings.
• Familiarize yourself with customer relations and complaint procedures (claims).
• Work alongside the quality assurance team to develop an understanding of how all the roles serve the facility.
• Complete a challenging project that aligns with KPI s and impacts our bottom line.
• Participate in three group-based Leadership Development Training sessions at our corporate U.S. Headquarters in Greeley, CO.
• Final Placement: the last 4 months of the program will provide hands‑on training in an area of interest with the intention of final placement into a leadership role.

Purpose/General Summary: Our 12-month program is designed to give you an immersive leadership experience at one of our 60+ domestic locations. This program includes hands-on rotations throughout all of the location’s business sectors, and is designed to give you real-world leadership experience and a thorough understanding of how each sector functions to support the overall production strategy of the location. What You Bring (Qualifications)

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
• Base salary range starting at $64,500 - $68,000
• Relocation available if applicable
