Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a 2027 Quality Assurance Management Trainee to gain hands-on leadership experience across a major meat and poultry operation in the United States.

The 12‑month program rotates through every business sector of a location, supports the QA team, and covers GMP, SSOP, HACCP and USDA activities. Three Leadership Development sessions are held at our corporate U.S. Headquarters in Greeley, CO, with final placement in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Willingness to relocate and work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Rotations across all production sectors to learn equipment and processes.
• Provide support to the QA team and participate in food safety activities.
• Understand GMP, SSOP, and HACCP protocols.
• Gain knowledge of food safety testing procedures and USDA meetings.
• Familiarize yourself with customer relations and claims processes.
• Collaborate with QA to support facility goals.
• Complete a KPI-aligned project impacting performance.
• Attend Leadership Development Training sessions at the HQ in Greeley, CO.
• Final placement in a leadership role after the program’s end.

Purpose/General Summary: Our 12-month program is designed to give you an immersive leadership experience at one of our 60+ domestic locations. This program includes hands‑on rotations throughout all of the location’s business sectors, and is designed to give you real‑world leadership experience and a thorough understanding of how each sector functions to support the overall production strategy of the location. Responsibilities

• Rotations: You will spend time learning and working in every business sector of your location. These rotations are designed to give you hands‑on knowledge of what positions, equipment, and materials are involved in each specific production process.
• Will provide support to the QA team
• Further your understanding of GMP, SSOP, and HACCP protocols.
• Gain working knowledge of food safety and quality assurance testing procedures.
• Participate in food safety team and USDA meetings.
• Familiarize yourself with customer relations and complaint procedures (claims)
• Working alongside the quality assurance team to develop an understanding of how all the roles serve the facility.
• Complete a challenging project that aligns with key performance indicators (KPI’s) and impacts our bottom line.
• Participate in three group‑based Leadership Development Training sessions at our corporate U.S. Headquarters in Greeley, CO.
• Final Placement: the last 4 months of the program will provide hands‑on training in an area of interest with the intention of final placement into a leadership role.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more

• Willingness to work different shifts and occasional weekends
• Flexibility to relocate

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
• Base salary range starting at $64,500 - $68,000
• Relocation available if applicable
