Job summary

JBS Foods seeks a QA Management Trainee for its 12‑month leadership program. You will rotate across all production sectors, assist the QA team, and deepen your understanding of GMP, SSOP and HACCP while gaining real-world leadership experience.

The program includes three Leadership Development sessions at our U.S. HQ in Greeley, CO and culminates in a final placement in a leadership role. relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Willingness to relocate.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work different shifts and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all production sectors to gain hands-on knowledge.
• Support the QA team and participate in GMP, SSOP, and HACCP protocols.
• Learn food safety and QA testing procedures and participate in USDA meetings.
• Familiarize with customer relations and complaint procedures (claims).
• Work with QA to understand how each role supports the facility.
• Complete a KPI-driven project impacting the bottom line.
• Participate in Leadership Development Training sessions at HQ (Greeley, CO).
• Final placement in a leadership role after the last 4 months of hands-on training.

Purpose/General Summary:Our 12-month program is designed to give you an immersive leadership experience at one of our 60+ domestic locations. This program includes hands‑on rotations throughout all of the location’s business sectors, and is designed to give you real‑world leadership experience and a thorough understanding of how each sector functions to support the overall production strategy of the location. Responsibilities:

• Rotations:You will spend time learning and working in every business sector of your location. These rotations are designed to give you hands‑on knowledge of what positions, equipment, and materials are involved in each specific production process.

• Will provide support to the QA team
• Further your understanding of GMP, SSOP, and HACCP protocols.
• Gain working knowledge of food safety and quality assurance testing procedures.
• Participate in food safety team and USDA meetings.
• Familiarize yourself with customer relations and complaint procedures (claims)
• Working alongside the quality assurance team to develop an understanding of how all the roles serve the facility.
• Complete a challenging project that aligns with key performance indicators (KPI’s) and impacts our bottom line.
• Participate in three group-based Leadership Development Training sessions at our corporate U.S. Headquarters in Greeley, CO.
• Final Placement: the last 4 months of the program will provide hands‑on training in an area of interest with the intention of final placement into a leadership role.

What You Bring (Qualifications):

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
• Base salary range starting at $64,500 - $68,000
• Relocation available if applicable
