The LNA-In-Training program at Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) offers hands-on patient care experience under licensed nurses, with didactic and clinical components.
Course runs Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm; after licensure, Trainees transition into full-time roles on their assigned unit with 3 twelve-hour shifts and every-other-weekend rotations. CVMC provides health, dental, vision, PTO, and more benefits.

The LNA-In-Training participant performs under the supervision of Licensed Nurses in direct services for the patients and assists in unit function. Responsible for completing assigned duties and accountable to the Unit Manager and Charge Nurse. Functions within Nursing Department and CVMC/Woodridge (WDR) policies and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Nursing Department and CVMC/WDR.
The Didactic and Clinical components of the course will be held Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm. Following the completion of the course and after sitting for the LNA licensure exam, Trainees will then transition into their Full-Time roles on their assigned unit and work 3 12-hr shifts and every other weekend rotations.
Must demonstrate ability to follow instructions and a willingness to learn.
