Central Vermont Medical Center is offering an LNA-in-training program with didactic and clinical components, Monday–Friday daytime schedule. Trainees will transition to full-time nursing roles on their unit after licensure, with weekend rotations in a 3‑12 hour shift pattern.
The program emphasizes patient care under supervision, adherence to hospital policies, and a commitment to advancing from LNA to RN through this pathway.

The LNA-In-Training participant performs under the supervision of Licensed Nurses in direct services for the patients and assists in unit function. Responsible for completing assigned duties and accountable to the Unit Manager and Charge Nurse. Functions within Nursing Department and CVMC/Woodridge (WDR) policies and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Nursing Department and CVMC/WDR.
The Didactic and Clinical components of the course will be held Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm. Following the completion of the course and after sitting for the LNA licensure exam, Trainees will then transition into their Full-Time roles on their assigned unit and work 3 12-hr shifts and every other weekend rotations.
Must demonstrate ability to follow instructions and a willingness to learn.
