Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in an IT-related field (CS, IT, IS, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Math).
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
• Able to work effectively in a team and maintain attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of IT concepts (networks, OS, databases, software dev, cybersecurity).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support IT team with day-to-day operations, projects, and technical initiatives
• Contribute to current IT projects and departmental goals
• Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and resolving technical issues
• Help develop, document, and improve processes, tools, and templates
• Conduct research and data collection on technologies, tools, and best practices
• Maintain accurate records, notes, and documentation related to assigned projects
• Assist in preparing presentation materials, reports, and status updates
• Collaborate with team members to plan, communicate, and execute project work
• Perform other duties as assigned

Americo will be hosting our annual summer IT internship program! Our office is located at the heart of Kansas City in Downtown KCMO. Our 10-week IT Internship program will allow you to gain hands-on experience in the workplace and increase industry knowledge. You will work on special projects, shadow experienced team members, and interact with people from all levels of the company.

• Support IT team members with day-to-day operations, projects, and technical initiatives
• Contribute to current IT projects and departmental goals
• Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and resolving technical issues
• Help develop, document, and improve processes, tools, and templates
• Conduct research and data collection on technologies, tools, and best practices

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in an IT-related field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
