Job summary

Textron Wichita is seeking a 2027 Human Resources Intern to support HR operations, data management, processes and services across the function. You’ll work on real projects alongside professionals to prepare for a career in HR.

You will collaborate with business partners to drive talent development, support recruitment efforts, and participate in HR technology initiatives while upholding confidentiality and delivering strong customer service. This paid internship runs 10 weeks onsite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard and customized processes for human resources to support HR management, business partners and other internal customers.
• Partner with functional leadership to drive talent management/development programs and philosophies consistent with the organization’s strategy, goals, and values.
• Participate in implementation of human resources technology enhancements.
• Support internal talent acquisition including the sourcing of talent, building talent pipelines, and identifying talent gaps/needs. Partner with recruiter and hiring manager to set recruitment strategy and oversee recruitment processes.
• Other projects and assignments to support and gain exposure to different human resources

Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Intern role will primarily be focused on assisting with human resources support, employee data, procedures and services for a wide variety of human resources activities. Opportunity to support internal customers to provide guidance with business strategies, processes, communications, and policies.

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
