Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking 3L law students (JD 2027) to join the entry level class in our San Francisco office. This position offers exposure to an internationally recognized fund formation practice and collaboration with a bench of 60+ attorneys dedicated to fund formation and counseling.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent writing, oral communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Cooley LLP’s Fund Formation practice group is recruiting 3L law students (JD 2027) to join the entry level class in our San Francisco office. We are recruiting 2027 JD graduates for this position. Recruiter submissions will not be accepted.

This is an opportunity to join an internationally recognized Fund Formation practice – and a deep bench of 60+ lawyers focused full-time on fund formation and counseling. To learn more about our market-leading Fund Formation practice.

Candidates should demonstrate: Excellent writing, oral communication, and analytical skills are essential. The ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Prior corporate or transactional experience is helpful but not required. Ideal candidates will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

The annual pay for this position is $225,000.
