Job summary

BNY Wealth Practice in Boston invites high-potential undergraduates for a 10-week Summer Internship. You will support wealth-management teams and gain exposure to client-service models across investing, taxes, borrowing, spending, and legacy protection.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a 4-year degree with a business or tech focus, expect to graduate in 2027 or 2028, and maintain a 3.0+ GPA. No visa sponsorship required.

Summer Internship Program

The BNY Summer Internship Program offers high-potential students a dynamic 10-week experience designed to accelerate development, build professional networks, and provide meaningful exposure to one of the world’s leading financial services institutions. Through a skills-driven talent model, interns gain insight into the capabilities, platforms, and functions that power BNY’s global franchise while contributing to impactful business initiatives.

From day one, interns are immersed in BNY's collaborative and innovative culture through:

Program eligibility:

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred
• Graduating in Dec 2027or May 2028 (U.S.)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the countrywhere applying.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
