As a Banking Consultant, you will apply problem-solving, research, and collaboration to deliver data-driven recommendations. Expect a hybrid schedule near a local office, with travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in progress with expected graduation between December 2026 and August 2027.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation or sponsorship now or in the future.
• Reside within 50 miles of your assigned office; hybrid work model.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% with travel expenses covered.
• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into daily workflows with critical thinking.

As a Banking Consultant , you will work across business, technology, and management consulting engagements, gaining valuable exposure to multiple facets of the financial services industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• Apply personal and corporate knowledge to tailor solutions and build partnerships, empowering clients to gain competitive advantage in their markets.

• Support business and technology executives to solve key challenges within the financial services industry early on in your career through research, analysis, collaboration, and problem solving.

• Gain exposure to one or more of the following segments:

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs.

• Apply AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, data models) to enhance insights, improve delivery efficiency, and elevate the quality of client outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in progress, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027. Candidates must currently be on track to graduate within this window. Graduation date will be verified.

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation or sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., OPT, H-1B visa, TN, etc.)

• Reside within 50 miles of your assigned office prior to your start date; our culture emphasizes team collaboration within a hybrid work model

• Ability and willingness to travel (up to 50%); travel expenses covered by West Monroe

• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation, coupled with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, mitigate bias, and ensure high-quality outputs

Preferred Qualifications

• Majors with a focus in:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and applying data to analyze business problems

• Interest in the financial services industry, including commercial banking, retail banking, and banking technologies such as leading Fintech companies and traditional core technology providers
