Job summary

RTX is seeking engineers to scale up testing, integration, and verification efforts for complex radar and RF systems at our MA facilities. You will develop plans, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system readiness for missions.

Responders should have a STEM degree and hands-on experience with hardware, software, and verification. This onsite role involves travel up to 10% and requires U.S. citizenship and clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with systems hardware, integration, or test.
  • Prefer experience in integration labs, test facilities, or field support.
  • Experience with RADAR or RF systems.
  • Experience with military systems.
  • Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans, procedures, integration and verification docs for simulations and real environments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and system issues through data analysis and debugging.
  • Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and assess functionality.
  • Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve issues.
  • Create integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data and communicate results to leadership.
  • Travel up to 10% to support missions at RTX facilities, test sites and customer locations.

What You Will Do
  • Support Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
  • Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
  • Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
  • Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
  • Collaborate: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
  • Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 10%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • This role is onsite at our RTX facility in Tewksbury, MA or Woburn, MA.
Qualifications
  • You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: systems hardware, systems integration, and/or systems test.
  • We Prefer Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.
  • Experience with RADAR or Radio Frequency (RF) systems.
  • Experience with military systems.
  • Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or other programming languages.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
