Purpose Of Position

The Minnetonka Public Schools has elementary choir programs for children in grades 3-6. The choir meets to practice one day a week after school from September through May, with public performances. This position serves as the piano accompanist for one of four Elementary Choirs, during rehearsals and concerts.

Assignment Details

The elementary after school choirs practice one day a week for 1.5 hours (day of week and time TBD yet) at Clear Springs, Deephaven and Scenic Heights Elementary Schools

Qualifications

• Demonstrated excellence in technical and expressive aspects of piano playing.
• Evidence of piano accompanying skills, including the ability to follow the conductor.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible, dependable, and work a varied schedule.
• Experience of successful experience working with school age students.

Compensation

$2,690 Stipend

This Position Not Medical or Dental Benefit Eligible.
