The Arlington Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for per diem Substitute Teacher positions for the 2026/2027 school year. The starting rate is $137/full-day for Certified Substitute Teachers and $127/full-day for Non-Certified substitutes, with a bonus opportunity paid in July 2027.

Substitutes work full-day or half-day; interviews will be held monthly. Minimum qualifications include an Associate's degree or 60 college credits for non-certified, transcripts and teaching

Job description

The Arlington Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for per diem Substitute Teacherpositions for the 2026/2027school year. The starting rate of pay for a Certified Substitute Teacher is $137/full-day and for a Non-Certified Substitute Teacher it is $127/full-day with the opportunity for a bonus to be paid in July 2027(see details below). As a per diem substitute, your position is based on working either a full-day or half-day. Interviews will occur on a monthly basis.

Certified Teacher

• Substitute for at least 50 days = $500 bonus, or;
• Substitute for at least 75 days = $750 bonus, or;
• Substitute for at least 100 days = $1,000 bonus

Non-Certified Teacher

• Substitute for at least 50 days = $500 bonus, or;
• Substitute for at least 75 days = $750 bonus
