• Verify safety straps are used and intervene if unsafe behavior is observed.
• Understand mechanical operations of lifts and communicate issues promptly.
• Maintain unloading ramps, ensuring proper snow depth and grooming.
• Manage lift corrals and perform related duties as directed by supervisors.
• Operate RFID gate access with Yuma Tablets and Hand-Held scanners.
• Demonstrate full knowledge of all ticket types and enforce Fraudulent Pass Procedures.
• Communicate effectively with Ticketing staff to support smooth operations.
• Accurately complete all required shift paperwork.

Be part of the team that keeps the mountain moving! Our Lift Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our nine chair lifts while delivering friendly, helpful service to every guest. This role is essential to both guest safety and the overall skiing and riding experience at Jiminy Peak.

Position Details

• Hourly position reporting to the Lift Supervisor and Lift Operations Manager
• Monday-Friday: First shift: 8:00am - 3:15pm | Second shift: 3:15pm - close
• Holiday period and Weekends: First shift: 7:30am - 3:15pm I Second shift: 3:15pm - close
• Weekends and holidays required
• Seasonal role typically runs from late November through early April (weather dependent)
