Job summary

Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort LLC is seeking a Lift Operator for the winter season. The role involves safe operation of nine chair lifts and delivering friendly guest service in all interactions.

Hours vary with two shifts on weekdays and extended hours during holidays; weekends and holidays are required. This seasonal position runs roughly from late November through early April, weather permitting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Must deliver excellent customer service in all guest interactions.
• Non-tobacco use position per Company Policy No. 3.4.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, professional approach.
• Check tickets and provide general resort information.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading of all lifts.
• Direct guests to proper boarding positions.
• Verify safety straps and intervene when unsafe behavior is observed.
• Understand mechanical operations of lifts and communicate issues promptly.
• Maintain unloading ramps, snow depth and grooming.
• Operate Yuma Tablets and Hand-Held scanners to manage RFID gate access.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all ticket types and enforce Fraudulent Pass Procedures.
• Communicate with Ticketing staff to support smooth operations.
• Accurately complete shift paperwork.
